Important Changes to Covid-19 Funding

Changes to funding for appointments related to COVID-19 related infection and assessment

From Monday 13th February 2023, the Primary Care funding for those presenting with symptoms suggestive of Covid-19 or for those diagnosed with Covid-19 have changed. This will include a shift towards more targeted care for those at greater risk of complications from Covid 19 or those more vulnerable from the disease. Unfortunately, this means that for the majority of those presenting with Covid-19 symptoms or for those with Covid -19 any consultations with a doctor will be at the patient’s expense. There is strict funding criteria that if met there is no charge to the patient.

Masks:  We kindly ask that you wear a mask when you come into the Practice. This is to protect our patients and staff from contactable diseases.

If you have a mask exemption and please call us when you arrive and your doctor will see you in one of our modern clinical rooms in the carpark.
