Originally from the UK, Jen studied at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and graduated in 2008. She continued to work in the North East of England for 2 years before moving to New Zealand in 2010 for a planned “year out”. During that time she fell in love with the country and the work life balance that NZ had to offer and years later is still here. She has completed both her GP training and fellowship in NZ and has gained experience in general medicine, emergency medicine and Hauora medicine. She has also completed the University of Otago Travel Certificate.

She enjoys all aspects of General Practice; particularly acute medicine and family health.

Outside of work she enjoys travel, exploring NZ and beach walks with Hugo her dog.
